Here’s the big list of free/inexpensive things to do with your kids in and around Austin, Texas. Thanks to all the folks who chimed in with suggestions, there is plenty of stuff here to keep you and your kids happy and entertained throughout the summer and year-round.

What this site is: A general list of free or inexpensive things to do in and around Austin with your kids. It’s a simple reference site – a portal to finding fun.This is a list compiled by a mom, with input from other moms and dads, and is meant simply as a way to help answer the age -old question of “Mom, what are we going to do today!?”

What this site is not: An advertising vehicle or a place with lists of summer camps. There are loads of resources for that all over the web.
